SLIFA FC replied twice at home to clinch a point from the May Park Boys who couldn’t hold on to their lead on both occasions, despite having much of the ball during the match.
Mohamed P. Kamara’s 49th minute; stunner put the May Park Boys in front but Mohamed P. Sesay canceled it in the 71st minute, only for Noble Daramy to take the lead again from the spot before Thomas Sanus 88th minute sensational equalizer shared the spoil.
Opinions were rife that the penalty shouldn’t have stood but the SLIFA head coach refused to comment on that and instead stated that; “We did our best and fought to the last”.
