Wednesday June 9: BAI BUREH WARRIORS vs EAST END TIGERS (PORT LOKO CITY FIELD @ 4:00PM)
Warriors are bracing up to slaughter the Tigers in their arena and be in the top ten of the Premier League table while the visitors will be hoping to come out of the Warriors den unscathed and stay in mid-table.
Bai Bureh Warriors are in 11th position with eight points from eight matches and East End Tigers are in 10th position with eight points from eight matches.
A win for the Warriors will see them leap over Tigers and Old Edwardians to be in 9th position while a draw will be of no significance to their current position on the table.
Tigers will propel to 3rd place if they can win in Port Loko whereas a draw will leave them on 8th position.
Bai Bureh Warriors head coach, Abu Bakarr Kamara is convinced that his team will bounce back and get all three points after losing their last two matches to FC Johansen and Wusum Stars respectively.
“We played well in our last two matches but failed to get points out of them. We have learned from our mistakes and highly motivated for the match today. We hope to get all three points against the Tigers,” coach Bakarr said.
East End Tigers head coach, Musa Jalloh is optimistic about clinching all three points and hopes to continue their two-match winning spree.
“We started the season very slowly and played five matches without a win. We have started closing the gap and we have for the first time this season won two matches consecutively and we look forward to repeating that feat here in Port Loko,” Coach Musa Jalloh said.
