A goal in the first half scored by Saidu Sesay and two goals in the second half scored by Ibrahim Keita and Osman Shengie respectively were enough to demolish a young but stubborn Bai Bureh Warriors side, whose deep-in-form has created a lot of problems for the technical team of the host.
Head coach, Abu Bakarr Kamara had to be sneaked out of the stadium by security officers after fans started booing at him for “fielding the wrong team” and staged a protest that the “Chairman must go”.
East End Tigers head coach, Musa Jalloh believes his side turnaround was due to motivation from the club hierarchy and the players’ commitment and love for the team.
“We are progressing gradually and I must confess that we can reach this peak because of the love the boys have for this club. They are dedicated and committed to the job. However, this team is a work in progress and we will continue to fight till the end,” Coach Musa Jalloh said.
